Looking to hire a bicycle or book a bike tour in the Stellenbosch area? You've come to the right place. Ride In is one of Stellenbosch's most well-known bike rental and tour companies. Owned and run by Gavin King (with decades of industry experience), Ride In is based in the centre of Stellenbosch, making it a quick 5-minute walk from the centre of town.
There is no better way to explore Stellenbosch than from the seat of a bicycle. Whether you're a seasoned mountain biker, or simply looking for a leisurely ride around the Cape winelands, Ride In Bike Hire has a wide range of bikes to suit your needs. And, we'd be happy to book a guide for you to make your experience even more memorable.
For relaxed day-trippers, we have a fleet of bikes perfect for exploring Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine farms. This can be done on e-bikes or normal entry level bikes, with or without guides... it's up to you! But please be sure to book your guide in advance. For more experienced riders, we have a wide selection of more technical bikes too.
STELLENBOSCH TRAILS
Stellenbosch has long been renowned as THE mountain biking mecca of South Africa. And we are proud to have a trail system that just keeps on growing! With hundreds of kilometres of purpose-built trails and even more gravel/jeep roads, you will literally be spoiled for choice.

Everyone is welcome! But to avoid disappointment, we do ask that you pre-book your bike through our online booking platform. We do charge a small extra fee for walk in clients, as it make our logistics harder to manage, rather than pre bookings, so please bear that in mind. Last minute walk-ins may miss out, so please be sure to reserve your bike online ahead of time.
